Children's Cancer Hospital Egypt 57357, a non-profit organization, is considered one of the largest specialty cancer hospitals in the world. More importantly, the hospital is entirely constructed and sustained by donations (without monetary support from the government), which has been successfully achieved with the help of the Association of Friends of the National Cancer Institute (AFNCI) and its counterpart funding organizations in the United States, Canada and the European Union under the name of the Egyptian Cancer Network (ECN), Being fully supported by donations allows the hospital to treat its pediatric patients for free.

Children's Cancer Hospital has committed to establish a New healthcare campus in 2017 the vision includes an integrated healthcare complex incorporating treatment for all forms of cancer.
In addition to the medical and treatment facilities, the New Cancer Institute will include hospice and palliative care centers, coupled with separate buildings for doctors and nurses housing, and a patient visitor’s guest house, Research Center including Experimental Animals Building served with (Breeding Radiology– Radiotherapy - Operation rooms & care) departments.
CCHE will span a fully integrated healthcare delivery program planned to include: Inpatient, Outpatient, Treatment, and Teaching and Research.

The new project site is located on 2 parcels of approximately 215,000 square meters, with initial design intended for the entire operating campus and all components below upon completion of Phase I Construction & Commissioning.
Future planned construction will subsequently expand the complex to treat a total of 90% of the population of children with cancer.
Under Phase II, with capacity increasing further to a total 600 beds after the project’s final build-out under Phase II.

Design premise is defined as meeting the highest international standards, with state-of-the art equipment targeted to provide the best available environment of care for children with cancer patients throughout Egypt, and the Middle East.

Scope of work

Children's Cancer Hospital has appointed a team of consultants from Solving Efeso Egypt and Construction development center to act as advisors for the expansion of the current facilities.
