Gensler London was selected to provide the design concept for the new headquarter in Abu Rawash - Giza. CDC worked shoulder-to-shoulder in an ongoing, intimate client relationship that crossed both sides of the table. The complex featured three wings: The North wing contains service bay facilities and a showroom. The South wing includes body shop, paint and detail days as well as the corporate offices. While the predominantly central wing rises gently from the green landscape creating an overall identity for the community and the owners. The 6,490 m² building provides a reading which translates into a stronger iconographic image for a highly visible site in Giza.
Scope of work
Architecture is basically a container of something, i hope they will enjoy not so much the teacup, but the tea.
