One of the development projects funded by GIZ Participatory Development Programme in Urban Areas, in close collaboration with the Urban Upgrading Units (UUU) in Giza Governorate. With the emphasis on the sector of education and the high priority of improving the educational system in Egypt .
Scope of work
the project aims to merge, upgrade and remodel the two schools, Al Wafaa Preparatory School for Boys and Mostafa Kamel Mixed Elementary School, located in Teraet El Sawahel Street in Warraq District in Giza. Project includes constructing a new five-floor building with additional classrooms and facilities in order to accommodate for the increase of the student density.
