9th Commando Kandak

The project consists of the design and construction of the 9th Commando Kandak for the Afghanistan National Army (ANA) in Herat District, Herat Province, Afghanistan, composed of one Commando Kandak and all required facilities to include utilities infrastructure.

Scope of work

· All facilities to be constructed with applicable drawings.
· Power generators and electrical distribution system; sanitary sewer system; water source, pumping, and distribution system; and a sewer line to tie into a proposed wastewater treatment plant located to the south of the project site at Camp Zafar (the proposed wastewater treatment plant and as an option an underground wastewater holding tank with influent sewer line.
· Road network and parking inside the compound and access roads to the compound.
· Perimeter wall, anti-vehicle trench, and entry control points.
· Drainage channel and External Perimeter Road.
